A bookworm from the age of ten, I lived vicariously through romance heroines for nearly 20 years, dreaming all the while of one day writing my own romance novels, not to mention my own happily-ever-after. I finally found my real-life hero on a farm in rural Nebraska, and we’ve been married for almost 15 years. When I finally got a handle on the home-and-family gig in 2005, I succumbed to the writing bug and cranked out my first novel on a used laptop from eBay. That first draft was so awful, I put it away for a year and edited for an online publisher while writing my next book. ALIEN OVERNIGHT sold to Ellora’s Cave before the ink had dried on THE END, and after more than a year of revisions, that first book, the book of my heart, BIG TEMPTATION, also sold to Ellora’s Cave. These days, I save my editing skills for my own books and those of my critique partners. I'm currently working on the rough drafts of four sequels at once and hate all of them. *grin* Fortunately, I've got revision down to a fine art.
